Each year, Madison Magazine in Madison, Wisconsin does a survey of local businesses to determine which are the Best Places to Work.

This year, Frazer Consultants is proud to announce that we not only took the top spot for small businesses, we also earned this year’s highest score out of all submissions for Madison!

The survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Nebraska, asks employees a series of 60 questions to determine whether their workplace scores well in six key engagement categories:

• Communication and Resources
• Individual Needs
• Manager Effectiveness
• Personal Engagement
• Team Dynamics
• Trust in Leadership

Quantum Workplace has conducted this survey for 12 years and has ranked more than 72,040 organizations in 47 contests throughout the U.S.

Based on employee responses, Quantum Workplace rates each company on a 100-point scale. Frazer earned a 96.43, compared to the national average of 87 for software companies.

In his interview with Madison Magazine about the survey, Quantum Workplace Insights Analyst Aaron Brown said that trust in coworkers, trust in leadership, and good communication are some of the most important factors in ranking highly, especially for small companies like Frazer with less than 50 employees.

“I would say any great culture is going to probably start with communication as number one,” said Matt Frazer, president of Frazer Consultants, in his interview with Madison Magazine.

And it’s clear that Frazer employees agree. Within the anonymous survey, employees had this to say about Frazer Consultants:
