Recently, Curry Funeral Home received recognition from one of their clients. She was impressed by how much the staff went out of their way for her. Initially, she was uncomfortable meeting at the funeral home, so they met her at her parents’ home. Just another way funeral homes are going above and beyond for their client families!

Brown Funeral Home is encouraging its community members to come to the funeral of a Vietnam veteran who had no family. They want to celebrate his wonderful legacy.

Funeral Homes Offer Life-Saving App
Three Missouri funeral homes — Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel in Columbia, Carr-Yager Funeral Home in Fayette, and Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin — are offering free downloads of the Vital ICE app. The life-saving app lets users enter their health information and history, which can be helpful for first responders during emergency situations.

Funeral Home Celebrates Its 100th Anniversary
Gilman and Valade Funeral Homes and Crematory is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a ceremony on July 18 and a time capsule burial, which they’ll open in 20 years.

Therapy Dogs Welcomed at Funeral Home
Ziemer Funeral Homes welcomed two therapy dogs to their staff, Milo and Aree. They’re four-month-old Newfoundland mix puppies.

Funeral Home Adds Therapy Dog to Staff
Hamilton’s Funeral and After Life Services added a three-year-old therapy dog to their staff named Finland. She’s a Merle Great Dane. They also have a therapy dog named Lola at one of their other locations and a therapy puppy named Bear in training.
