Greece’s First-Ever Crematorium Has Mixed Reactions

Greece’s first-ever crematorium opened in September 2019, but not everyone is happy about it. The Greek Orthodox Church doesn’t approve of cremation, so it goes against some people’s religious beliefs. However, some people are glad they no longer have to travel to Sofia, Bulgaria for cremations, which used to be the closet crematorium to Greece.
