More families are interested in having green funerals — also known as environmentally-friendly funerals. They’re more conscious of their impact on the environment and want to do what they can to help reduce their carbon footprint.

For example, a U.K. funeral home is offering a variety of green funeral options, from environmentally-friendly caskets to the little funeral service details like glass bottles instead of plastic water bottles.
