More People Are Embracing Dark Tourism

More people are embracing dark tourism, whether it’s visiting famous cemeteries, memorials, haunted locations, or other death-related places.

According to Alex Grebenar, a researcher for the University of Central Lancashire’s Institute for Dark Tourism Research, dark tourism is defined as “tourism to sites associated with death, disasters and atrocities.”
