WWII Veterans Receive Military Funerals Decades After Remains Went Unclaimed

There was a military funeral service at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, Connecticut to honor four veterans whose remains were unclaimed. The veterans honored were Carl Brannon, Charles Noonan, Arthur Chappell, and George Church.

For the past 10 years, the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association has worked with the Missing in America Project and the state Department of Veterans Affairs to give veterans the funeral services that they deserve.
