28-year-old Raegan, a female funeral director for the Co-Op in Scotland, explains all the reasons she loves her job in the funeral profession and her advice for other female funeral directors.

“Being an 18-year-old woman trying to get into an industry that was pretty closed off was tough, but I was persistent. I eventually got my first role as a funeral arranger, before two years later, landing my current role as a funeral director,” she tells Cosmopolitan in an interview.
