EDITORIAL: Public left out in cold on funeral industry

Although Premier Stephen McNeil promised to make Nova Scotia “the most open and transparent province in Canada,” little has been done to make this actually happen. The Nova Scotia Board of Registration of Embalmers and Funeral Directors can still meet behind closed doors to hear public complaints about funeral homes and not publish any results from such sessions.
