United States Senator and war hero John McCain lost his battle to brain cancer on August 25, 2018. We won’t forget the lessons he taught us and the sacrifices he made for our country during his military career and time as a senator.
President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama, and Joe Biden are among some of the people giving eulogies at his funeral services in Arizona and Washington, D.C. He will be buried on Sunday in Annapolis, Maryland at the United States Naval Academy Cemetery.

John McCain believed that every citizen has a responsibility to make something of the freedoms given by our Constitution, and from his heroic service in the Navy to his 35 years in Congress, he lived by his creed every day. https://t.co/946T7PnG53

John McCain was many things – a proud graduate of the Naval Academy, a Senate colleague, a political opponent.
But, to me, more than anything, John was a friend. He will be missed dearly. pic.twitter.com/AS8YsMLw3d— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) August 26, 2018
