How Funeral Directors Cope With Gun Violence

As traumatic deaths reach record-breaking levels, Delaware funeral professionals share how gun violence impacts the community, families, and even their own mental health.

The funeral directors at Congo Funeral Home in Wilmington said about 5% of their 400-plus annual services are the direct result of gun violence in the community, while Wright Mortuary said a small percentage the 325 families they serve are shooting-related.
