Mother Orca Shows That Animals Grieve Death Too

A mother orca carried her dead infant through the water for several weeks. Scientists still don’t know a lot about how animals grieve, but many believe that this was an act of grief.

Ocras aren’t the only animals to show signs of grieving. Elephants and chimpanzees are just two other examples of animals who are believed to grieve death.
