A WebMD survey titled Grief: Beyond the 5 Stages looked into how people cope with grief from different life events, such as the death of a loved one. Some of the results about coping mechanisms found that 53% of people who experienced the death of a loved one spent more time with family and friends and 37% of people listened to or played music.
