Glueckert Funeral Home Offers Annual Tour of National Cemetery

Glueckert Funeral Home of Arlington Heights, Illinois, will continue their annual tour to the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. The tour is open to veterans and their families. It will include a presentation of veteran benefits, a guided tour of the cemetery, a boxed lunch, as well as other activities. This year’s tour is scheduled for September 20th.

Illinois Funeral Home Hosts Patriot Walk

Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home of Franklin Park, Illinois, is sponsoring the 9/11 Patriot Walk. The walk will honor the lives of those lost on the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Those interested in participating in the Patriot Walk can meet at the Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home at 6 p.m. on 9/11/2017.

Arkansas Funeral Home Invites Local Community to Day of Prayer

Young’s Funeral Directors invites local residents to join them for the National Day of Prayer for Faith, Hope and Life on September 10th. The event will focus on those whose lives have been changed by suicide and will bring attention to National Suicide Prevention Day, which also takes place on September 10th.

Charles Soderstrom and Dennis Aardahl of Devils Lake, North Dakota, recently earned their Certified Crematory Operators (CCO) certification from the NFDA.
