To accommodate families looking to host a gathering after the funeral, Hoffman Funeral Home is opening up a new event space in their old building downtown.

After Funeral Home Manager Gerald Newman retired, Morse Funeral Home welcomed Douglas W. Sanderson as their new funeral director and licensed manager. Doug has been working in the funeral profession since he was 16 years old.

Blackwell Funeral Home hosted a welcoming event to celebrate their new funeral home in Yanceyville. After guests prayed and enjoyed hymns, they had a chance to eat food and socialize.

Grief Therapy Dog Welcomed at Funeral Home

Schaudt’s Funeral Service and Cremation Center recently welcomed Goldie the Goldendoodle to their staff. Goldie is currently training to become a grief therapy dog.
