Meet Kermit: First Therapy Dog For Funerals in Texas

Kermit is a one-year-old Border Collie that recently became the first official therapy dog for funeral homes in Texas. Kermit passed his tests in May and has already been to more than two dozen funerals.

The Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Chicago will open their first cremation garden in Des Plaines. The Cremation Garden of Saint Francis will open on July 10th.

Mission Park Funeral Chapels and Cemeteries is putting solar panels on eight of their funeral home facilities. Mission Park Funeral home has also started using 18 electric Smart Cars in their funeral fleet.
