Funeral Home to Open New Location

Bowers Funeral Home is opening a new location in Presque Isle, Maine. Currently, the funeral home has locations in Houlton and Island Falls.

Two Funeral Homes Hosting a Food Drive

Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home & Crematory in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Gering Memorial Chapel in Gering, Nebraska are hosting a food drive until the end of March. People can bring non-perishable food donations to either of the funeral home locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Davenport & Harris Funeral Home, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama, which is the oldest, active family-owned business in Birmingham and the oldest, active funeral home in Alabama, celebrated opening their new cremation center.

Marcus Harrison of Harrison Funeral Chapel in Alton, Illinois received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association.

Sol Levinson & Bros, Inc. and Fram Monument Company worked together to open a new location in Annapolis, Maryland so Jewish families have easier access to end-of-life religious services.
