DeJohn Funeral Homes and Crematory is coordinating their Stockings For Soldiers drive. The program helps collect supplies for soldiers overseas and their families back home. The funeral home will be collecting items such as long socks, AA batteries, personal care items, AT&T calling cards and non-perishable food items.

Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory celebrated their 200-year anniversary, making them the oldest operating funeral home in the state of Virginia. The funeral home was founded in 1817, also making it the second oldest funeral home in the country.
