Watson-Thomas Funeral Home in Galesburg, Illinois, recently opened a pet crematory to help families overcome the loss of beloved pets. In addition to cremation services, the pet crematory will offer grief and memorial services to help families preserve the memories of their pets.

Miller Bean Funeral Home will open the first-ever crematory in South Scranton’s history. The Pennsylvania funeral home will host an open house to answer questions about the cremation services offered.

Return to Nature Burial and Cremation, a green funeral provider, opened last month in Colorado Springs. The funeral home focuses on using biodegradable recycled products and is in the process of installing an alkaline hydrolysis system.

Ohio Funeral Home Starts Annual Stockings For Soldiers

DeJohn Funeral Homes and Crematory is coordinating their Stockings For Soldiers drive. The program helps collect supplies for soldiers overseas and their families back home. The funeral home will be collecting items such as long socks, AA batteries, personal care items, AT&T calling cards and non-perishable food items.

Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory Celebrates 200 Years

Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory celebrated their 200-year anniversary, making them the oldest operating funeral home in the state of Virginia. The funeral home was founded in 1817, also making it the second oldest funeral home in the country.
