Funeral Homes Honors First Responders

Two Louisiana funeral homes held a luncheon to honor and remember first responders with their annual First Responders Appreciation BBQ.

New Jersey Funeral Home Honored

Brunswick Memorial Home received the NFDA’s 2018 Pursuit of Excellence Award. The award was given to only 159 funeral homes around the world.

Alabama Funeral Home Offers Free Meals

Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home was part of a local group of businesses that joined together to offer first responders free meals. The free meals were meant as a thank you to area first responders, as well as a way to honor the memory of first responders lost on 9/11.

Ohio Funeral Home Honors First Responders

Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory hosted a free luncheon for first responders. The funeral home also prepared and delivered boxed lunches for the first responders who were unable to attend the luncheon in person.

U.C. Davis – Callahan Funeral Home is hosting an open house to showcase their latest service — alkaline hydrolysis.

Minnesota Funeral Homes Sponsor Healing Event

Lind Family Funeral Home and Anderson Funeral Home, with the help of Compassionate Friends, will sponsor the Angels Across the USA Tour as it stops in the city of Alexandria. The Angels Across the USA tour features music and messages of hope from Alan Pedersen — an award-winning speaker, songwriter and recording artist, that has a personal experience with grief when he lost his daughter in a car crash.

All three MKD Funeral Homes are accepting flag donations. The donated flags will be used to honor American veterans as they are laid to rest.
