Introducing Tribute Insurance Assignments

smartphone and money

We understand every family’s situation is different, so they need a payment option that works for them. That’s why our all-in-one payment platform, Tribute Pay, now offers insurance assignments.

Tribute Insurance Assignments is yet another way for families to pay for funeral expenses through Tribute Pay. Our program makes the life insurance process faster and easier for both your funeral home and your client families.

For families who don’t want a credit card payment or loan, this may be the best solution for them. It lets you cater to families who otherwise wouldn’t have the funds. Instead of settling on less expensive options like direct cremation, they can plan the funeral their loved one deserves without worrying about the expenses.

Tribute Insurance Assignments and Your Funeral Home

To submit a claim, all you need to do is go into your website’s admin panel and click Tribute Pay. Then, select the Assignment Funding tab on the far right and click Submit New Claim. It only takes a few minutes to complete this form, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Instead of waiting weeks or even months, your funeral home gets paid in as little as 24 hours. We also keep your funeral home up-to-date on the claim process through the Tribute Pay admin panel. We take care of following up with the insurance company and completing any additional forms, as well. That way, you can focus on caring for your families rather than figuring out funeral payments.

Tribute Insurance Assignments and Your Families

Our approval process is faster than with other funding companies. Within 24 to 48 hours, we’ll verify the claim for funding. We accept any type of assignable claim, and there’s no limit to the amount families can request from their claim. And if we can’t verify the claim, they can try one of Tribute Pay’s other payment options, like Tribute Loans or Tribute Crowdfunding.

Our Experienced Insurance Specialists

Together, our insurance specialists have 63+ years of experience working with life insurance policies. Our team is always available to answer any of your life insurance policy questions. They’ll handle the claim process, so your staff can get back to helping your families make necessary funeral arrangements, and your families can get back to honoring their loved ones.

What is the fee percentage you charge? When will Tribute loans be available?

    • Samantha Ward

      Hi Dawn!

Tribute Loans and Tribute Insurance Assignments are both available for use right now since you’re on the Frazer website platform. As for the Tribute Insurance Assignments fee, we have a convenience fee of 3.95% of the amount that the family requests for assignment, or a flat fee of $125 if 3.95% of the amount they are requesting is less than $125.

I hope this answers your question, but if you want to learn more about the features of Tribute Pay you can always give us a call at 866-372-9372!

  2. Darryl D Johnson

Is a copy of the death certificate needed? If we wait for tox. results, a permanent d.c. may not be available for 12 weeks.

    • Samantha Ward

      Hi Darryl,

A death certificate is not needed prior to funding. Once we verify the claim, we fund the assignment within 24 to 48 hours. That way your firm gets the money up front with very little paperwork. After we fund the assignment, then we work with your firm and the family to finish submitting paperwork for the full life insurance claim — that is when we would need the death certificate. I hope this answers your question!
