You, Mr. or Mrs. Funeral Director, doing the best you can out there doing amazing work, in fact, in your community and not often celebrated to the extent that you probably should be. I feel like this could be a mantra for your work as a funeral director. And I’m sure there are many examples, but who am I to say? I know you don’t really know me. In fact, you probably don’t even have any idea who I am. Right at this moment, I’m just another salesperson or vendor claiming to have something you need. Soon, however, you will know me. And by the time you’re finished listening to this, not only will you know who I am, but you may find yourself feeling compelled to pick up the telephone and give me a call. Why? Because I know you, and I believe I understand you. I understand how important you are to your local communities. I understand the commitment you’ve made to your calling and to your legacy. And I understand how challenging and time-consuming your mission and your vocation can be.
