Hi, I’m Samantha Ward, and I’m the Marketing Manager here at Frazer Consultants. For businesses to continue to grow, they need to set specific and realistic resolutions. This is especially true for the funeral profession, because it’s constantly changing. That’s why I want to share a few resolutions that your funeral home can make this year.
If you haven’t already, update to a responsive funeral home website. This is extremely important, so if there are any resolutions you focus on, make it this one. To put it simply, a responsive website adapts to whatever screen size you’re viewing it on, whether that’s a smartphone or desktop. If your website isn’t usable on mobile, someone will go elsewhere.
Another resolution is to start a funeral home blog or keep up with your current one. You should post at least once a week about topics like grief or preplanning. And, don’t forget to share those posts on your social media channels.
Speaking of social media, Facebook is where Baby Boomers are spending their time, so that’s where your funeral home should focus. Create a Facebook Page for your funeral home if you don’t already have one. And then, focus on your About section and creating a consistent posting schedule.
