Unfortunately, we can’t meet in-person for this year’s convention, but we’re excited for the 2020 NFDA Virtual International Convention & Expo! The virtual convention is still an amazing opportunity for learning about funeral trends and networking with funeral professionals.  

Below is a brief breakdown of this year’s virtual convention. 

Breakdown of This Year’s 2020 Virtual NFDA Convention 

This year’s virtual NFDA convention is Tuesday, October 20 through Thursday, October 22, but the expo hall is open until the 31st. The official booth chat hours are Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 2:30 – 4:30 pm CST, Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 2 – 4 pm CST, and Thursday, Oct. 22 from 10 am – 12 pm CST.  

For the most part, you still can do everything you would normally do at the in-person event, just in a virtual environment. You can visit virtual expo hall booths, attend virtual sessions for CE credits, listen to inspiring keynote speakers, and more! 

To make the most of this year’s virtual sessions, add your must-watch sessions to your schedule! Whether you’re interested in restorative arts and complying with the FTC Funeral Rule or learning about social media and reducing stress, there’s something for everyone. And make sure to check out the keynote speakers!

What We’ve Been Up To

One of our latest projects is our new drag-and-drop website builder tool. With this tool, we can create more customizable funeral home websites than ever. Our designers can take individual elements that you like — such as different obituary, header, or menu styles — and drop them into a website unique to your funeral home.
